Yes! We discussed this with [[diego de la hera]] recently.

The fungus provides water and minerals, shape and form, while the algae makes food through photosynthesis.
Sounds like a sweet deal!

In my paper writing, I put wikilinks around things that I want to follow up on. They stand out visually when you scan back over something afterwards.
I do the same often!

I think [[dogsheep]] is cool -- a set of [[bridges]] and [[siphons]] with [[sqlite]] as "lingua franca" for data storage/querying? It could take us quite far :) [[promnesia]] and it could interop I guess. I think I'm interested in trying to make it easier for people to get git repos and/or sqlite files with copies of their activity online, port them between tools/platforms/commons.

Art nouveau
I also get the same vibe -- I wonder if it has to do with art nouveau being already "the next thing" which is in the air, and that being conflated with a vision of the future 20y in the future or so; it feeling like a natural reaction to modernism/high modernism due to the organic feel and the focus on details, which incidentally may become "unlocked" for scalable (sustainable?) mass production with the full advent of 3d printing.

Flancia! Perhaps a light patch? I'd have gone with "polities of all sizes", but perhaps I'm wrong.

I think the stuff people are doing with "hey we can shove sql *in* the browser" is so cool -- I wish I could think of something to do with it!

It's free (minus a *very* small time cost) for me to sound off about every little thing, free to distribute that, and only the cost of internet to access it -- but when you're talking about literal manuscripts, the content available to you to read was only what people thought was worth a *much* higher cost to produce, plus some marginalia -- things that reflected their core values. That could be varied -- primary scriptures and exegesis, natural philosophy, histories and genealogies, practical things like recipe books... but not, like, [an announcement that I am rereading a piece of entertainment meant for fourteen-year-olds](https://occult.institute/@maya/108159355767968698). I dunno that it's *bad* that we can afford so much more of the trivial stuff in life, but it's striking to realize how unfocused my attention really is.

My Nitter and Miniflux combo on YunoHost still going well for [[reading tweets without being on Twitter]]. I use it to keep up with what's going on with organisations local to me, who are still on legacy social media platforms. Could still do with something that works well for RSSifying Facebook.
Very interesting! Have you noded instructions on how to reproduce?

Also, they're trying out [[cohousing]], which of course immediately pricks up my ears.
Awesome! Reminds me of the [[hutterites]] which I learnt of only recently. And of course the [[kibbutz]]?
